JHK Dismissed by Colbert

I think Stephen Colbert sort of dismissed James Kunstler in this interview. What do you think? Was it just part of his "uber-conservative deny-all-liberal-claims" act?

Provacative, Geoff

I think Kunstler appreciates the exposure he gets out of shows like Colbert, but realizes he's not going to make very many serious points. But those that he is able to get in are worth it. No Colbert wasn't dismissing Kunstler - not by a long shot. But he was doing his schtick.

So my Captcha testing to see if I'm human is:

Isn't that getting to be kind of like, a lot of letters?

I see no dismissiveness

I think JHK and Mr. Colbert were right on all of their points. Colbert plays the arch-conservative to give his guests airspace. In this interview, Kunstler makes his points well and Colbert demonstrates to the thinking person how ridiculous the a rebuttal can sound. It works for me.
